Details of your catches:

lake was very nice, bernard was a great bloke even tho the language was tough between us we got on very well, all of us caught with 1 having the most carp upto 44lb, approx 20 cats were taken out the largest being 55lb, water level very low in the lake makin it hard to catch with the high heat (40c) the only problem was the very large rats called coypu which kept swimming into lines and giving false bites on alarms at night, other than that had a great time and wuold defo go back :)

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

carp were caught on tiger nuts over parti mix, cats were caught on boilies and dead bait, boilies were source, spicy tuna, cell, halibut pellets and bloodied eel pellets

yes very good altho a step up into the shower would be a good idea

General Comments:

very happy with the service and comunications with both angling lines and lake owners, directions printed from angling lines website were spot on

we caught a total of 22 fish all together.cat fish carp and the biggest carp in the lake was 54llb and Anne caught that and broke the lake record

we used a lot of diffrent baits we caught on all baits we used .Quest baits,poacher baits dynamite baits they all worked .

Were the facilities what you expected?

Could have been better I foun them a bit dirty ,shower and sink.No oven

General Comments:

The lake was good but I found the facilitys a bit dirty compared to other lakes that we have been to.The owner was very pleasant and cant complain .

Between us we had around 50 carp.

Boilies. Didn't use too much as they were not on the feed.

General Comments:

Fish were crashing out all over but not on the feed.

Details of your catches:

4 cats from 8lb to 45lb. 3 grass carp from 16lb to 22lb and 14 mirror carp from 15lb to 35lb all hard fighting fish in excellent condition.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Cell boilies over groundbait and pellets. Set up with the wind blowing into your bivvy door and the fish will be in your area. If you are not catching then move swims.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were good. Shower toilet freezer microwave and hob.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, however it could benefit from a step to help to get in/out of the shower. For less able bodied anglers this would be a problem. A seperate shower/toilet would make life easier also.

General Comments:

A very nice venue with great looking hard fighting carp. The owner and his english speaking daughter were very helpful and friendly and provided free drinking water for all anglers. Bakers in the village and a decent supermarket 10 kilometers away.
