3 blanked, 38lb and 34lb fish on single bait, Paul had 6 fish, smallest 26lb up to 32lb and bream.

Weather was very hot during the day but bitter cold in the night.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Tried all sorts to start with to find the fish, fished started to show in channel between spit and far bank so I started on zig rigs mid water depth about 14' the fish started to come on green foam in shape of maggot. 4 of us fished to the right of the spit the 38lb came out in the shallower water on the right near bushes.

Yes, plenty of room for all anglers.

General Comments:

Very helpful, got stuck in mud and owners got us out. Had a thoroughly enjoyable time, learnt a lot using different tac tic's. The spit was covered over most of the week and just cleared last day.

34lb6oz 41lb,10oz 27lb,4oz 24lb 3lb koi and 4 bream. Lost another 3 carp due to snags.

Fishing in shallows on the river side of the lake in between the two islands baited up the area with boillies and partical most takes were through the night.cell and scopex

they were spot on a new cabin has been put on the lake were you can meet and eat and has power point.

Just 2 fish 35lb and 33.6 in great condition,and put up a good fight both fish caught at night it became really cold with a frost on a 2 nights,

SAS boilies 15mm & 18mm(spa baits) with a few spods of pellets and hemp

facilities were bob on there is now 2 huts one with washing facilities and one for eating or just some where to meet up

General Comments:

we had a power cut which cut out all the power and water rang the owner and he was at the lake in 10min to put it bk on the owner would was great and helped us in every way pos

I had around 12 carp up to 37lb my mate only had one. It was warm in the day but freezing at night which wasn't helpful.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Didn't use much bait and fished at the facilities end in the left hand corner. Using single bottom baits or small bags of crushed tiger nuts. No other baiting.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes. simple and basic but understand new facilities due to arrive in December. Owner was brilliant, couldn't be more helpful.

Were you happy with them?

Yes. Would have liked to get some bigger out but weather not on our side. Very cold nights.

Yes. definitely easy water 8/10 overall for trip
