44lb and a 43lb. the guy on the spit he had 7 carp to 34lbs. we had 10 cats biggest 23lbs as well as the carp. we also had 6 or 7 grass carp

New lake record at 51lb 10oz !!! 11 fish in total...9 carp to 51.10 and 2 cats (one at 50lb and one at 39.05) Had a lovely brace of fish... one the new lake record at 51.10 netted within seconds of my dads 45.08

Boilies over a party mix wiv corn and hemp added. some halibuts on top of the bed of bait

General Comments:

fished quite slow due to wind powering to one side most of the week other group fishing there had a quite active week, but overall happy wiv the size and quality of the fish we had. Most fish been caught in the second half of the week

1x 40 to 42lb 8oz..... 9x 30's to 39lb 4oz, 22x Mirror Carp: 2x Doubles, 10x 20's to 29lb, Carp: 20lb 8oz, 21lb 8oz, 21lb 12oz, 22lb, 27lb 12oz, 30lb 1oz 4x Catfish: 10lb, 39lb, 48lb, 53lb (lake record).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We were using Baitcraft T1 Boilies tipped with fake corn over a birdfood particle and halibut pellet mix. Also a few carp came out to Tiger Nut tipped with corn over the particle mix. Fish mainly the same spots all week. There was no special time of the day for bites, sometimes we could pick up 3-4 fish each in a night, sometimes nothing. One of our party had 10 runs in a day and missed 8 of them!!

General Comments:

The 11.00 draw for swim seamed a bit early considering we didn't dock in Calais until 10.20 We turned up at the Lake to find others already fishing!!
There is a deep trench which runs around the whole of the lake, we lost a few fish due to cutoffs when the fish go in there (be careful fishing the margins)

1x bream - 4lb, 4 x catfish to 48lb 8oz, 37 x mirrors to 37lb 12oz & 12 x grass carp to 28lb 1oz. TOTAL WEIGHT 1309LB 8OZ

Filling it in with particle, ie hemp, maize and partiblend with tiger nut hookbaits tipped with maize.

General Comments:

This was my 2nd trip to this venue, first 3 days were hard fishing and only had about 5 fish, then we decided to fill it in with particle and this produced fish. My daughter's first french trip produced a 35lb 11oz mirror for her, the owner Mr Cousin, once again a top bloke, a massive thank you to Bridget and the team at Angling Lines for making this all possible.
