4 nights fishing resulted in 70 Carp to 29lb. 12 x 20's. Bream to 7.5lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We fished from the spit and targeted various different areas in the lake. We floater fished, we float fished with paste and we ledgered boilies, trout pellets and large corn. All of the methods we tried resulted in fish. Largest float fished carp 23.5lb, largest floater fished 18lb.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The directions are simple & it is a very easy drive down. The shower facilities are perfect and we made use of the cooking facilities (not least of all to boil up a sack of hemp!)

General Comments:

This is our third year with Angling Lines. They organise a fantastic fishing holiday.

This venue is packed full of fish, it has some fantastic swims on it. The carp are in good condition and can be caught on all methods all over the lake.

We had a brilliant trip and would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an easy to find water, easy to drive to, good facilities and a few screaming runs as well!



We all had a great time and look forward to booking with Angling Lines again and again.

Most fish caught on boilies with double bottom bait being the best method. Caught a lot by stalking.

Blinding fishing. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

71 carp, 13 bream. 12 carp over 20lb, biggest 23lb 4oz. Majority of carp upper doubles 16 to 19lb.

Started off the week spodding beds of bait & pva bags with one rod on

General Comments:

I would say that, if you are going to France for the first time and want some action, then this water would be an excellent choice. Could benefit from a few larger fish.

2 x 30's up to 31.12.....45 x 20's up to 28.00. 86 fish in total. 22lb grass carp on last day. Brilliant fishing!

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Hemp over boilies. Used Quest Special Crab & Fruity Trifle. Looked for clearspots - never fished in more than 1m of water. Got takes from everywhere!
