We struggled to start with because the fish were spawning but it came good in the end with around 10 fish including 5 good twenties.

Tiger nuts & PVA bags of pellets. The water level was high so we couldn't fish the peninsular.

Very happy with the lake & the facilities we just caught it at a bad time due to spawning but the potential is deffinitely there.

Fish were spawning so not much luck - but you could see fish everywhere. Very frustrating! Had several fish to high doubles.

Plenty of big carp here - you could see them.

About 25 fish. Averaged around 2 fish per day each. Biggest 27.00, average low twenties

Boilies & Tigers were equally effective

General Comments:

Water was very high & a lot of fish were held up behind the tree line which would normally be out of the water. I think we would have caught lots more with lower water.

Details of your catches:

25 fish between us up to 28lb, mostly 15lb+. Fish were mainly caught overnight as it was very hot during the day.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fruity boilies worked well, eg. Tutti Fruitti, peach & pineapple, the fish weren't interested in meaty flavours.

The brochure and directions were spot on. Could do with putting some lily pads in the 2 bays.
