Details of your catches:

Unbelievable fishing!!! 63 fish, smallest 17lb, average mid 20's. 4 fish over 29lb.... 1@ 30lb 12oz

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fished left bank (looking from cabin) around 20m out (water level was very high so I was actually fishing just past the tree line). PVA bags of pellets and 3/4 grains of maize on the hook. Tried boilies but maize was the best. Pineapple boilies worked OK but not so good on fishy or meaty flavours. Every run was a screamer!

General Comments:

This session was unbelievable - I really didn't fish at night because I was too tired. I know it sounds ridiculous now but thats the truth! I fished from noon on the Friday & was gone by the Monday lunch & I only had one rod out on the Friday! Manic fishing! If you want action this is the place to come.

General Comments:

We were here last year so we knew we'd get plenty of action. Didn't do quite as well this year (the Point was submerged due to high water levels & we fished the Point last year) but we still had plenty of runs! We had 2 on at the same time at one stage - 24lb & 19lb. We'd deffinitely recommend this venue.

Details of your catches:

We struggled to start with because the fish were spawning but it came good in the end with around 10 fish including 5 good twenties.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Tiger nuts & PVA bags of pellets. The water level was high so we couldn't fish the peninsular.

General Comments:

Very happy with the lake & the facilities we just caught it at a bad time due to spawning but the potential is deffinitely there.
