General Comments:

Fished slow as night time temps dropped to 2 degrees

31 carp landed, biggest 52.2 mirror and 8 forties including 48.4 mirror and 48.4 common. Caught mainly in the day, crayfish active and some pike. Fish seemed to move on the wind.

General Comments:

Overall very good. Owner is pleasant and leaves you alone. Improvement since last year is the rollocks on the boat are fixed and there is a toilet at the lake :)

15 fish, biggest 59lb 8 oz (common), two other fifties (52 and 50 mirrors).

49, 48, 2x 47.5, 43, 41, 40, 38x 2, 34, 33, 24

Multiple forties and thirties, one twenty four. Average over forty pounds.

Fish came at all different times.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing to the weed, with heat shrink wrapped boilies. Crays very active, so fed them off with lots of particles and boilies. Changed rigs constantly as they attacked the coated braid and blunted the hooks.

Only lost two to hook pulls and one to weed. A couple of cut offs (assumed zebra muscle in the weed, or crays weakend the line)

General Comments:

Once again Boux was fantastic. There is more weed than we have seen before, but fish were in there.

Meant runs were sometimes a single bleep and fish dug in, but if you were quick to rods, then not too much of a problem.

Drifting weed a pain, had to clear this from line when playing fish, pulls of easy but some sharp bits in there, so check and if necessary strip damaged line after every fish.

Good fighting fish in great condition. Fish showed all week. Caught fish all over the lake at all times day and night.
