General Comments:

Had a great trip with pbs had, but the pike was very bad had four bite offs had to go out in boat to retrieve live rigs. Crays were very bad, the lake margins were black with them at night and baits must be wrapped or plastic.

Love the venue and have been 5 times but don’t think I will return till pike issues and up to date carp stock has been updated as we have had a lot of recaptures over last few years.

All are group love the lake and would happily come back but feel its time for the owners to take control of the small carp and the pike
And maybe put up to date carp stocks/videos of carp of fish once netted.

*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback Richard. The lake has now been drained and netted (last week of Oct 2022) to remove much of the pike and resolve the issue.

General Comments:

Boux is a favourite of ours. Tough week though with temperature high thirties all week.

11 fish in total from from all pegs in far margins fish did show all over but lots of naturals in lake so not feeding hard, wind was northern and didn't change so fish seemed to hold in far bay which is 230 yards so be prepared for that .

Caught on wafters and topped boilies.
I was heavy baiting but had more fish in my swim than the other lads, so they went with less which produced.

Yes as seen it photos and videos on line

Yes everything all good.
Farmer has little English but a nice guy we used google translate, worked for us.

Yes, I would this is not a runs water and can be hard.
But holds some massive fish.
Be prepared with the right gear, we were lacking a on board motor. Bait Boats are needed from wooded bank in my opinion.

General Comments:

Few branches over head of wood swim were breaking off in the wind so bit of maintenance around lake needed also more gravel on pegs, path.
10 fish were in pristine condition and 1 fish did have a large swore.
Could be bacteria related from a quick Google. I'm not a marine biologist.But cows can drink and poo in water at far bank possibly related.
Sad not to see feedback from previous anglers.
Never seen so many pike in a lake think they have got out of hand.
