Details of your catches:
45lb, 43lb, 42lb, 39.08 com and a 37lb mirror caught on very slow sinking fake green corn critically balanced to a size 6 hook and 4 oz lead. 10 " hook link. Fishing in the silt. Pick a spot and stick to it, unless you see fish!!
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Fished peg 5, small amounts of crushed boilie with pellet and parti blend, vitalin and sweetcorn.
Fished at about 120 - 130 yards around the old riverbed in about 3 1/2 ft water. Very cold for the first 3 or 4 days. When it warmed up the fish started to feed from around 4 pm onwards. Only caught from Wednesday on.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes, great warm shower with a gas fire in the cabin. Lovely!!

Defo, what a great venue, Frank the bailiff will try his best to help you. His English is much better than my french!!

Yep, we are booked for laroussi this year!!
General Comments:
This is a great venue, some big fish too. Beautiful surroundings, watch the king fishers every day and the fish perform for you too.

11 fish from 16 lb to 45 lb, most fish were in the 30lb mark

Tiger nuts top with plastic corn
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yes would take a bike next time, toilet a bit of a walk but it's a nice walk through the woods, plenty of wildlife

Yes, the lake was about 18 inches down and a lot of poisson chat

Yes without a doubt
General Comments:
Nice lake, a bit weedy in places, loads of wildlife and very quiet, seen my first osprey, fish in great condition mainly caught at night but enjoyed my week

Popup rigs with a sweet pink hookbait seemed the most consistant, although tiger nuts landed a couple of fish.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Yep, third time at the lake so no suprises. Clean and always and plenty of hot water

Yes
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
All my fishing friends have fished and love Brocard Large. I would happily recommend the lake to a stranger instead

Yes, ten plus years with you guys and never a problem
General Comments:
Great lake, great week. We lost a few fish in the weed, but the weight average was really good for what we did land. Franck was a gent as always, and we look forwards to our next trip to Brocard Large

Acceptable, would of been better with more charging time for batteries etc

Lovely place, nice fish, great to be able to park near swim and use car to get to facilities, Mark and Frank both great guys cant wait to get back
