Angling lines are always exceptional in service, a must to book through these for any off there lakes.

General Comments:

Fishing was exceptional hard with high pressure, scorching temperatures and the fish all up the other end of the lake for the whole week basking and not really feeding.

The lake is stunning and the bailiffs frank and mark are always on hand to help and give advice, although this week proved to be out of there and my control.

70% of the fish came to the ‘house boilie’ supplied by Mark, 20% to tigers and 10% to bright pop-ups. 40% of carp came from the far margin, 35% from the channel 25% from open water casting to showing fish.

General Comments:

Brocard Large is a stunningly beautiful lake set in the margins of a vast forest. We fished peg 11 at the far end of the lake commanding a small bay. The setting is tranquil with the forest at your back and a woodland skyline across the lake.

● The bailiffs Frank and Mark offered as much information as we could ask for, with a mixture of their inside info and our observations we felt confident from the start.

● As a drive and survive venue the facilities are excellent

● The fish are hard fighting and in excellent condition clearly well looked after

● We were fortunate to have the end of the lake where fish showing well, we caught well by casting at showing fish at ranges from 20yds to 80yds. Frank and Mark advised us to try an area approximately 15yds from the far margin and down the channel to our left. This info was spot-on, we caught the majority of our fish from these areas.

● Our tally for the week was 41 Carp, and two big smiles, many thanks to Mark and Frank

Details of your catches:

Peg 8 got 7 fish, biggest 51 pound grass carp and the rest commons up to 38.6 pound.

Peg 11 had 10 fish, nice double take of a 44.6 mirror and a 43 common all the rest mid to upper 30s.

Peg 12 not so good, two fish, the fish just not showing in the shallower water.

All in all good week considering fish started spawning Wednesday night

Franck and mark very helpful and as we found out are at the end of the telephone night or day, top blokes

5 fish between us, biggest 40lb 4oz, a 28lb 24lb, 22lb 17lb all fish great condition

Small amount of crushed bolies and a 15/20 freebeeeezs and a hand full of pellets
