Cerises Facilities
Included in the lake hire you have the mobile home accommodation located by a main double swim and also a simple wooden cabin located behind another swim further down the bank.
Mobile Home Accommodation
Whilst the mobile home has no frills, it is clean and comfortable, providing good facilities right on the lakeside. From the covered decked terrace you have a lovely view of the lake and can make good use of the gas BBQ and picnic bench. It is possible to fish the closest double swim whilst sleeping within the accommodation at night as long as you have your receiver with you and are quick out the door!
Inside you'll find a small kitchen complete with fridge, gas stove, stovetop kettle and toaster. Pots, pans and cutlery are supplied. There's a simple dining/seating area here too in case the weather turns.
In terms of sleeping arrangements, you have a compact double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There's also a toilet, sink and shower room. Bedding, towels and tea towels are provided.
Due to the location, power is solar but provides lighting and enough electricity throughout the week to charge items etc. However, we do ask that you are mindful of the fact it is all solar powered - for example early in the morning you may need to wait a little while for enough hot water for a shower.
The best time to do your washing up and showering is when solar production is at its peak, generally between 11am and 5pm. Please avoid using large amounts of electricity at night, we suggest recharging your phones, bait boats etc during the day when solar power is more abundant.
There is no mains water supply and therefore a modern filtration system is in place to provide water to the accommodation. In the kitchen there is a Berkey water fountain for drinking water. Wi-Fi is only available during the day.
Baby chair and cot can be provided on request.
To the left of the accommodation is a petanque/boules court too.
The Wooden Cabin
This is a simple cabin situated behind one of the swims further down the lake, free for you to use as you wish - whilst very 'no frills' it can be a good alternative to taking a bivvy. Directly outside there's another seating area with picnic bench and BBQ.
