β€’ Peace and quiet on the lake must be respected, particularly at night

β€’ Anyone under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times when fishing.

β€’ Cars must be parked in the designated parking area after unpacking (unless an exception applies)

β€’ We do not tolerate the leaving of rubbish, cigarette butts or bottle tops etc around the lake

β€’ Any abuse of alcoholic beverages or any use of illegal substances is prohibited and may result in exclusion from the water

β€’ No ground fires. Barbecues are supplied for your use - please make sure to empty them before your departure and in the event of rain to store them to prevent them from filling with water

β€’ The branches of trees, bushes or shrubs must not be cut or broken

β€’ Please avoid using large amounts of electricity at night, we suggest recharging your phones, bait boats etc during the day when solar power is more abundant.

Rules specific to anglers

β€’ Maximum 3 rods per angler, rods must not be left unattended

β€’ Carp disinfectant required. Any fish caught must be handled with care (do not forget to regularly wet it and always use the landing mat). Please weigh and photograph quickly then returned to the water. We recommend rigid weighing bag to ensure fish are returned to the water without damage

β€’ Bait boats and rowing boats are allowed. There is a rowing boat on site for your use with lifejackets which MUST be worn at all times

β€’ Hooks should be single barbless or medium sized microbarbed. We reserve the right to check these

β€’ No braid allowed.  Fluorocarbon leaders are allowed but not braid

β€’ All particles used must be properly prepared (fully cooked) or shop bought, checks are made

β€’ Maggots are allowed, all other live baits are prohibited

If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
