This private carp fishing in France with accommodation package includes a lakeside gite that sleeps up to 6 guests (or 8 if utilising the sofa-beds). It sits just a short walk from the main swim. It's a well-equipped, comfortable base, offering plenty of space for both anglers and non-anglers to relax throughout the week.

There are three bedrooms:
- a master double bedroom with ensuite
- a cosy bunk bedroom with two single beds ideal for children (and a door leading directly onto the patio)

- a second double accessed through the bunk room.

A further two sofa beds in the lounge offer sleeping space for an additional 2 guests if required. TVs are provided in each bedroom.

The living area features two sofa beds, a TV and a wood-burning fireplace, with doors opening directly onto the covered patio. There's also a sun room providing extra living space with a large sofa - perfect for relaxing after a session on the bank.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including:
- fridge/freezer
- oven & 4 ring burner

- kettle
- toaster
- coffee machine

- microwave
- crockery, cutlery, pots and pans

- dining table seating 4 guests

A separate utility area provides:
- dishwasher
- washing machine & tumble dryer
- additional freezer space

The main bathroom consists of a shower, toilet and washbasin. Bed linen and towels are included. The house is connected to mains water, and plug sockets are EU, so don't forget to bring adaptors.

Outside

The covered patio has a dining table and chairs for up to 6, a charcoal BBQ and additional garden seating. One bag of charcoal for the BBQ is included for your stay; if you run out, additional charcoal will need to be purchased separately.

The Local Area

The lake is set in the Limousine countryside, close to the gateway to the Périgord Vert and the Charente. The town of Rochechouart is just 10 minutes away, with a good range of shops, bakeries, cafés and restaurants for everyday essentials or a relaxed meal out. The town itself is worth a wander too, with its medieval château adding some local charm.

The historic village of Oradour-sur-Glane is around 20 minutes away - a poignant and significant WWII memorial site, preserved exactly as it was left in 1944. It's a moving and unforgettable place to visit for anyone interested in history.

For a wider choice of shops, restaurants and attractions, the city of Limoges is approximately 30 minutes away. Known for its porcelain heritage and pretty old town, it's a great option for a half-day trip away from the lake.
