We used a white pop up on a spinner rig the majority of the time and a few we used a yellow pop up on spinner rig but white was superior.

Gary & Angeline were superb host looking after us and helped us with everything we need. We would recommend the trip to everybody and anybody. We have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would 100% come back again. Gary & Angeline have created the most beautiful, peaceful french fishing experience, we can’t that you enough for letting us stay at this wonderful place that you have both created. This lake has exceeded our expectations 10 fold and also you both making us feel so welcome. We will definitely be booking again.

Jimmy and Lee
5 x 30+ 4 x 20+ and many high teens. 20 carp caught using house bait, if in doubt Gary will point you in the right direction. He is very knowledgeable and has struck the right balance in allowing you to have a go and pointing your in the right direction.

House boillies on blowback or Ronnie rigs topped with 12mm pop ups

Facilities are all in excellent condition, lake is well looked after and a pleasure to fish.

Both Gary and Angeline were welcoming and accommodating from the outset. The lake is well maintained and the fish are in impeccable condition and it’s clearly the priority of the owners to maintain a fantastic fishery.
