Details of your catches:

As a group, we caught 27 fish throughout the week, including 4 catfish, with the largest weighing 68lbs, and 23 carp, with the biggest at 33lbs. We also caught three other carp over 30lbs, while 19 carp were in the 20lb range and one was in the teens. Overall, it was a reasonable result, although I believe the weather conditions had a significant impact on our catch rates throughout the week.

We seem to catch better when using wafters.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The cabin was excellent, clean, comfortable, and everything worked perfectly during our stay. The owners had also left some thoughtful extras, including tea, coffee, milk, and power leads with UK plug sockets. These little touches were really useful and made us feel very welcome. The dining area was also well equipped, with a selection of drinks and everything you could need during your stay. It also offered a fantastic view overlooking the lake, which made it a great place to relax, enjoy your meal, and take in the surroundings.

Were you happy with them?

Gary, Angela, and George were great hosts throughout the week we were there. Gary was always willing to help and share advice on fishing techniques for the lake, which definitely helped improve our catch rates. Angela's cooking is first class, and I would highly recommend the meal deal. The food was excellent every day, and we couldn't fault it. George was always on hand to help with any bait we needed and was happy to assist with anything else throughout our stay. As hosts, they worked together as a fantastic team, and I can honestly say they provided some of the best service I have ever received on a fishing trip to France. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they helped make the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this venue. The fishing was enjoyable, the facilities were excellent, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience.

General Comments:

Overall, we had a fantastic week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The venue is well maintained, the fishing was enjoyable, and the facilities are excellent. Although the weather conditions may have affected the catch rates at times, we still managed a good number of fish and had a great experience.

General Comments:

It was a lovely holiday thankyou the food package was amazing ,a lovely family run lake. Was a bit disappointed that we didn't have a recliner seat on the ferry  we booked on the way home as we was up at 5

General Comments:

Food package was very good. Accommodation was as we accepted and has everything you need. Fishing was a lot better than we expected, catching fish from all swims.

25 fish in total but was too warm throughout the day.
1 cat at 40lbs and restarted carp between 20lbs and 28lbs

Used Cell with a small pop up in red.
