GRASSIES, MIRRORS, AND PB'S!, 6th May

What a mix of fish for the guys last week!

Two grassies out at 30 and 33lbs/15kg, with PB fish up to 54.3lbs/24.7kg!

And a nice brace of fish of 44.3, 46.10 and 48.4lbs!

The Return Of The Commons!, 2nd May

After a fair old while of mainly mirrors being caught, last week saw the commons returning to the bank in force!

It turned out to be a very productive week for the guys, although the fish all seemed to be congregating down towards Swim 3 for the second week in a row. Hopefully the warmer temperatures this week will get them moving up into the shallows.

Average weight was high again, with several 40lb/20kg+ fish, and three on or over the 50lb/22kg mark, with the biggest going to 51lbs/23kg and the white and black koï at 22lbs/11kgs.

A Colourful Catch!, 28th Apr

The guys on Swims 2 and 3 landed around 20 fish, with three over 44lbs/20kg, the biggest being 50.6lbs/23kg.

And Carrot made an appearance as well

What a week!!, 1st Apr

Our first Angling Lines clients of the year, Rob, Josh and Zak, had a productive, and sunny, week!

An absence of rain, and higher daytime temperatures, resulted in amultitude of daytime fish on the bank.

A total of nineteen fish graced the net, with six fish over 40lbs (to 49.15lbs), a 52lber, and the BSM at 60lb+! With the remainder of the captures around the mid to high 30lb mark the WEEKLY AVERAGE WAS 40.7LBS!!

The winter feeding routine seems to have been a hit with the fish anyway!

All in all a cracking week and a great group of guys! Hopefully be seeing them again in September, when the weather will definitely be warm enough to try out the swimming pools!
