Details of your catches:

Fished with my son, only us on the lake. Son Alex caught many good fish though I didn’t fish so hard and with two rods only. I only caught six carp to 33 pound and three tench to six pound. Never fished the dark hours nor the far bank where most fish came from. Just happy to be there and relaxing watching Alex catching good fish.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

My results show that my tactics of sit back and relax, don’t work very well. I very much enjoyed the venue although a bit too hot at times. Facilities are good and liked it very much. Bait was boilies as bought on site and ground baited with mix of crushed boilers and maize. Hair rigs on 15 pound line and size four barbless hooks. Would book this venue again but try harder next time. Low catch was my fault not the venue.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were good. Kept to a good standard with plenty of cold and freezer storage. Shower and hand basin were clean and all worked well. The dining area and kitchen were clean and tidy and plenty of sockets for charging of boats, power banks, phones and tablets and all were as good as hoped for and expected.

Were you happy with them?

I was very happy with all the facilities provided and the service and cleanliness of them.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

I was very pleased. The lakes were not loaded with pegs and so fishing was a pleasure and unhurried. I would wholeheartedly recommend the venue.

Certainly and already have on Facebook.

Enjoyed the venue, the services, the help from the bailiff and his wife and the fish I caught.

Jonchery 7 should be on everyone's wish list as it has some great carp in, i have fought a carp for over 30 mins before

Caught 70 fish in total to 39lb, most were 20lb + size, many great battles were had!

Having fished this venue before we knew where to fish and use the lake bait!
