General Comments:

Details of your catches:

As a complex it fished fairly hard, the weather was all over the place one day 18° then the next back at -1°. Resulted in 11 fish for the week, a mix of carp and grass carp. Biggest carp was a common at 32lb 8oz. Biggest grass carp was 47lb 5oz which I caught twice.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

As the weather was all over the place you just had to fish for bites, use tactics that suited the weather, small handles of bait in a bait boat taken across to the back side of lake. House pellets and fruitella pop-ups purchased from the office.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were everything you could expect, very clean, very user friendly, power sockets labelled for each lake and swim, designated areas in the fridge and freezer. Shower was clean, powerful and hot. Martin the bailiff was a great guy would do anything to help you out, don't be afraid to ask for anything you need.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy with the facilities, special mention to Marks better half who cooked our meals for the week, they were absolutely superb, I will add some photos of the meals below.

Yeah highly recommend we are rebooking for next year.

General Comments:

Had a great week, my dad recently took to carp fishing last year due to being diagnosed with cancer, it was time for him to spend time enjoying life on the bank, the whole Jonchery team did everything they could to get you on the fish and get a fish on the bank. J8 came free late Friday, they gave us permission to have a night on there from J7 for a go at catching a catfish of the sort after black sturgeon, resulted in a double take and a 29lb mirror for my dad!

Tactics: Tight to the far margin and fishing to showing fish. Baits: Light baiting with Essential Baits GS10 and Banana Kraken 16mm. Fished over with pink B5 pop ups

Definitely would recommend Jonchery 7 to a friend or anyone. The whole complex is brilliant! Mark was great, really friendly and very helpful.

Always easy with Angling Lines, makes fishing in France as easy as fishing in the UK.

General Comments:

Probably the best winter session I’ve ever had. We faced very tough conditions but still made it happen. There’s a fantastic stock which makes it a brilliant water even in the toughest times of the year.
