We had 20 fish from mid 20s to early 30s

It was a tricky week as the weather continued to be hot, no breeze and few bites. Best tactics were pop ups tipped with plastic maize fished over a mix of particles and pellet.

Facilities were fine and certainly sufficient for our needs

General Comments:

Its a nice venue if you want to have the lake to yourself, we did not fish the main swim but opted to fish swims on the opposite bank, out of the mid day sun. Muscrats are a pain and for the most part we kept them at bay and baited a couple of margin swims either side of our swims with maize to keep them occupied! Otherwise lovely place, great atmosphere, nice mid week BBQ to meet the lads from the main lake, peace and quiet in spades ;-) Terry

33 fish, 3 fourties, 7 thirties and 15 twenties. All fish were very hard fighting and picture perfect.

Boilies over seed mix caught all the big commons and mirrors and boilies over pellet caught grass carp

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, more than acceptable for a fishing holiday, the hot shower feels like bliss after being in your bivvy for a few days

General Comments:

One of the best weeks in France I have had. Mark and his family looked after us perfectly and we couldn't fault them at all. The BBQ was great and really gave us a chance to socialize with other anglers from different countries which was interesting. Mark makes the difference from a venue being good to brilliant.

General Comments:

Looked after very well by mark and anita .midweek barbque was a particular highlight.Nothing was to much trouble by the hosts. Had a small problem with a muskrat was rectifed by plastic baits on marks recomendation. Food was great highly recomended

First trip to France. Great venue. Angling Lines superb and Mark the Bailiff was fantastic looking after us. Already booked for next year.
