General Comments:

Second visit to Jonchery 7. Great holiday, great fish, had a very good time again.

Several fish including our biggest were caught stalking close to the margins.

Sweet pale boilies over particle tight to far margin.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Yes, however toilets and showers were a long way away and we were asked to only use vehicle once a day so as not to disturb other anglers, was a slight problem.

General Comments:

A mini heatwave did not help us this week as catches were down all over, but the fish we did catch were in great condition and are among the hardest fighting fish we have caught.

The lake is quite shallow and very silty bottom, we definitely think we would have caught more fish at a different time of year and if the weather was less variable.

General Comments:

Very nice owner, very helpful & speaks very good English. Lake & surroundings very nice. Had a hard week due to good weather causing the fish to spawn.

Lake well kept and swims the same. The facilities were clean & tidy, plenty of room in fridge & freezer. Any help required, either Paul the owner or Rob the bailiff were happy to help. The lake itself didn't fish very good when we were here due to spawning & the change in weather but fish were showing in their numbers. The fish we did have fought very well & were very nice fish for the size.

We are looking to come back & fish this lake in the future as it was a nice lake minus the fish.
