General Comments:

Mark the bailiff was excellent and a good laugh, not a runs water but that’s what we wanted, beautiful big lake with minimal pegs so each angler gets plenty of water to fish

General Comments:

Lots of crays and small carp around 4lb as long as you wrap your baits you won’t have any issues

Details of your catches:

I was there part of a group, but I will let them review there own views.
So my peg was drawn (5), I opted to fish the left hand side of the peg, this gave me open water and the left margin. Also had one rod on the far margin 3 rod lengths off the dead tree.
I landed 10 carp, 56lb 6oz common being the biggest of the trip for me.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I used a mix of essential cell and house plum for freebies, mixed with house particle and pellets. Towards the end of the week I only sent pure boilie mix out with fruit or cell smart liquid and essential cell glug.
Hook baits.
Started with cell snowman and had 1 fish , blanked for 36 hrs. Then changed to 24mm house boilie with corn topper on a german rig around 8 inches on a stripped back coated hook link. This really worked well.
I would actually recommend you dont buy bait outside of the venue. The house bait actually is the bait that works really well. Sweet bait all the way. Large hook baits, hard hookers essential as roach are like piranhas lol. You'll find out... check hookbait every 4 hours (good tip) a
Start your spots with a good amount of bait, then top up often. I used 130kg for the week.

General Comments:

Mark said he was going to remove tench in winter drain down so should be much better. Overall the bigger fish fought really hard and were in fabulous condition.
