Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

It was very warm and was advised to not use the pellet as it was breaking down very fast, so was advised to use the party mix, and so we did, infact we went through 100kg of party mix and also 30kg of boilie for three carp and so many tench, it was a joke tbh. Couldn't keep rigs on spots long enough for carp to turn up on it! We were told that there were roach and tench but not on the scale that they were, hook baits were being smashed by small fish all the time and was very frustrating. don't mind catching the odd tench here and there but it was beyond the joke. By Tuesday we had to ask for amour mesh for our hook baits as it was that bad for keeping a bait on the hook, and had we been told we would have gone much better prepared so do definitely keep this in mind
