General Comments:

Jonchery is an excellent venue, Mark cannot do enough to ensure your stay is brilliant. I had the food package this time and Anita’s cooking is fabulous - need to go on a diet now :)

Lovely lake, large double swims

63 carp landed to a 58.6lb common
Fish caught all over the lake, nobody blanked

Boilie over boilie, no boats needed

Yes and more, had an oven, did not know

Yes very clean n tidy, only downside we did not realise had to bring own toilet roll

General Comments:

Well run venue, Mark was great as he just let us crack on.

Details of your catches:

Myself and Liz Garrett caught 30 carp up to 50.08 mirror. We caught 8 x 40s... 40.04,44lb, 46.08lb, 48.08lb, 44.10lb, 42lb, 41.10lb, 46lb commons,mirrors and grass carp. Rest were 20s to 30s.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Lots of Mark Slade's great home cooked particle and pellet, with lots of boilies mixed in. Fishing snowman or wafters, more bait I fed quicker bites come as fish were hungry!

Were the facilities what you expected?

Excellent as usual, we had food package and Anita always goes out of way to help you, Mark is a fantastic bailiff and what a lovely friendly couple...
