Caught 10 carp, plenty of tench, fishing was hard due to the weather being really really hot and fish were in the deeper water where more fish were caught .

I lost a lot of fish, fish in there were clever and well fished for. I seen some lovely bigger fish come out but in the deeper water but that's fishing and timing for you. In the right conditions this place would be amazing.

Unfortunately I only have one pic off my iPhone as my camera card was corrupt but the fish were really nice and in pristine condition.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

I used 30lb submerge silt leader with a 20lb silt supple hook length, size 6 muggy and widegape b's

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities at Jonchery were amazing with a powerful shower, clean water, large kitchen area and chill out room. Toilets all of the above were kept clean an tidy

Were you happy with them?

More than happy with all the facilities and the help and advice from mark the Balliff. Mark and Anita keep a lovely lake it's well kept and well run and clean, I would definitely go again.

Yes most definitely or may just keep for myself lol

All six anglers caught a mixture of carp, linear, commons and mirror ranging from 19lb to over 50lb.

We generally fished Mainline Cell or Hybrid boilies with various pop ups on snowman rigs.

Yes they were, good sized freezer and a fridge on site. Clean toilet and shower room.

Yes, as usual every time we have booked with Angling lines, everything has been handled excellently. Great service when booking alternative ferry crossing times and no problems at all. People answering the phones are always first class.

General Comments:

Good venue, on site bailiff is very helpful, giving tips on where to fish and get the best results. Even lent one of our party a bivvy as his was leaking badly. Good when someone goes the extra mile to ensure trip is enjoyable.

Stunning lake in a stunning part of the world

Details of your catches:

Both of us beat our pb's twice during the holiday! The fishing started off superbly but due to the lovely weather the fish decided to spawn and that reduced our catch rates significantly. That withstanding we still had our best trip to France so far and have already booked to return

We fished as we do at home (wafters over hemp, pellet and boiley) and fished in the main over spots identified to us by Mark (the bailiff) who does all he can to make your visit a success

Facilities are excellent with the shower, toilet, anglers lodge immaculately clean
