La Fonte only stocks pellets on site (see info for these below). But given the changes brought about by Brexit, the owner Philippe is happy to accept deliveries of bait by prior arrangement too. There are websites where you can order bait for delivery, such as Baitology, which can then deliver to your chosen venue in advance of your trip. There is also a tackle store just 20 minutes from the lake that stocks bait.

Pellets

High quality pellets from Coppens, with 46% protein content, can be purchased on site. They include omega-3 rich algae and vitamins A, D, E, C.
3.50 € per kg but must be ordered before arrival.


Please note; Bait orders are made directly between you and the lake owner. We (Angling Lines) cannot be held responsible for any problems that may subsequently arise. If you order bait to be waiting for you when you arrive we strongly recommend you telephone or Email the owner a few days before your arrival to make sure it will be there for you. In 99% of cases this will just be purely precautionary, but bait is such an important part of your holiday that it’s only sensible to take every step to avoid problems.

To order the food package please contact Jean-Jacques direct, at least 4 weeks in advance, to check availability. The email address can be found on the 'Info Pack' in your Customer Area once your holiday is booked. You will be asked to pay the cost of any food packages directly to Jean-Jacques Maguet, in Euros, upon arrival at the time of your first meal.

There is an optional food package offered at this venue, provided by an independent cook, Jean-Jacques Maguet, who does the shopping, prepares and serves meals on site under his responsibility, the owner of the site just letting him use the kitchen facilities for free.

You can choose from a full package (breakfast and evening meal) or just an evening meal package. However, the food package is only available for orders of 2 people or more.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at 9.00 a.m. as a buffet.

It includes fried eggs, Toulouse sausages or chipolatas, beans in tomato sauce, French bacon, black pudding, tomatoes, parsley mushrooms, fresh French bread and toast, butter and jam, madeleines, doughnuts, biscuits, coffee, tea, orange juice and milk.

*Please note* On the morning of departure the full English is not available but a continental breakfast will be served.

Dinner

Dinner is served at either 5.00 p.m. or 6.00 p.m. depending on your preference.

Dinners have two courses, a main with either a starter or a desert. When it's cold I suggest a nice warm soup for example as a starter instead of a dessert. There is always French bread to go with the meals. Drinks not included.
