Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Ronnie's with yellow pop up's fished to far margins and far corners. Solid bags also worked well. Bait boats seemed to help. Would recommend the fishery particle/pellet/maize mix and bait quite heavy if they're on the feed.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were exactly as described, well equipped kitchen, lovely bathroom, very high standard and cleanliness.

100% happy, no issues and not a single thing we could fault.

Yes, would highly recommend the venue. It would suit both a family holiday and also people just wanting to fish.

General Comments:

Facilities were perfect, immaculate condition and spotless. Fishing was very good, all fish were in very good condition. Tony and Kim were amazing hosts, very friendly and always on hand to help if needed.

22 fish up to 40lb. We fished Sunday to Thursday.

Fish seem a little moody following storm previous week and the cooler weather. Fished various spot with bait boat used snowman presentation over boiled and lake carpet feed.

Yes they were the best we have ever had at a fishing lake.

General Comments:

We really enjoyed our week even though the fish were a little bit moody I think this was the case all over. This is a great venue from which you can explore a lovely part of France. Kim and Tony made us very welcome and couldn’t do enough to help us. Worth mentioning that although they live on site we never felt watched or uncomfortable they have the perfect balance in my opinion.

This is our 6th time to Landes, Kim & Tony are so welcoming, we would be there every year if there was space

The whole holiday was just perfect. Tony and Kim popped in every so often to make sure everything was ok and couldn’t have been more helpful. The lovely addition of the lakes cats visiting us made us feel even more at home.
