Have been to Landes before and the facilities & hosts are great.

Very happy with the whole holiday, upon arrival Kim & Tony are on hand, leaving us to ourselves in the knowledge they were there if & when needed.

Amazing - we had exclusive use and both gites - pool is fantastic and definitely needed in the 40 + temperatures of the heatwave

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Used the owners carpet feed with a bit of pellet mixed in, bought boillies from the owners, fishy flavours tending to work best, snowman rigs with pink krill pop ups seemed the best combination.

Were the facilities what you expected?

Facilities were excellent, the accommodation is comfortable and well set up, it was 35 every day we were there so we used the pool everyday to cool off as well.

Yes very much so, the fishing platforms were good, house / pool etc excellent

General Comments:

Kim and Tony are excellent hosts who make you very welcome, their bait offering is really good and I was impressed with the quality of the bait. The lake itself has numerous features to fish to, it was roasting hot when I was there and the fishing wasn’t easy as a result, so targeting fish in cover was a must to get bites, this lake is well set up for this and in cooler temperatures you could apply other tactics well. If it’s hot though use a bait boat and set traps is my advice
