General Comments:

Much harder week for us than previously experience. Generally slower across the lake for everyone except Uno (Dutch guy) on swim 0 but his fish were mainly smaller 20-30lb bracket overall. Booked on peg 0/1 in September so really hoping the fishing has picked up. Had 2 mid forties so that was a plus as bigger than the previous PBs from the lake last August.

Fished for a bite at a time. Boilies over maize hemp and pellet prob 2/3 kg each drop of boat on an iq d rig, best results off a cell essential wafter. Ronnie rig also caught with blueberry pop up in pink

General Comments:

Lake is at best 18 to 20 acre not 34 as stated. *Angling Lines note* We have measured the lake area accurately using google maps and calculate 29 acres (whilst the lake deeds do say 34 acres). We have now amended the description of the lake, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Details of your catches:

4 of us had approx 50 fish ,Hard frost the 1st night . I had 23 fish inc a 62.6lb common a 59lb mirror ,4x 40`s up to 49lb and 7x30`s.up to 39lb . And another had a 55lb mirror also.Hard fishing duew to night temps 1st couple of nights, but most of my fish were at night inc 8 in 1 night

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

baiting steady to start with and building the swim up at 120yds untill all 3 rods on same area . Using snowman baits on D and German rigs with IQ2 hooklinks and 4 oz leads fished tight ! Baiting was particles with house pellets and chopped boilies

Yes .Basic but clean and just what was needed for a week with plenty of freezer and fridge space also.
