Details of your catches:

Andy, Jack and Rick: 57 carp in total 18 x 10-20lb 18x 20-30lb 17 x 30-40lb 4 x 40lb + biggest 47.1/2lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Particles, pellets, boilies out to the middle of lake which has a rope from one end to the other separating the lake into 2 halves with several barrel markers which we fished to. We used bait boats as the middle is approx 160yards and this is the area which seems to hold all the fish. With the wind coming towards our corner no other way of getting out unless you have a boat. We netted 57 carp but we lost 15-20 one around the 50lb mark at the net and another one snapping my hook...

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities are better than some of the lakes I’ve fished already but while we were there they built a new foundation for a new improved shower block with better electrical facilities for next year.

Were you happy with them?

Very happy, nice clean, easy access, loads of room.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

Already have and will be booking for the future.

Would you recommend the services to a friend?

I always recommend angling lines, as always very easy to deal with

General Comments:

Can’t wait to come back to this lake. Had a brilliant 4 days, plenty of runs mainly daytime too so plenty of good pictures and the more it gets fished the bigger these lumps will get so won’t be long that most carp are 30lb+ with plenty 50lb+. The size of this lake, the surroundings and the quality of fish we caught is what coming to France is all about. Drive to all pegs, plenty of room and local amenities 10 minutes away.

Details of your catches:

Total 15 fish: 2 x 40s, 8 x 30, 5 x 20 (temperatures of around 40c most days / 44c on the Thursday (cooking lol) and we still caught).

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

20mm CompleX-T bottom baits fished over of the top of matching washed out baits. Simple rigs fished with 5oz leads at range. 3.5oz leads cast to showing fish closer in. Bait spread here with a throwing stick, and using slack lines (simple).

General Comments:

Absolutely fantastic lake. In a way, the perfect carp lake. Tip: get you and your friends booked on quick, as I think this is going to be booked up fast. Loads to go at on this venue for years to come. Good luck.
