Lake record lives on!, 13th Jun

It was our pleasure to have the Browning boys on the lake this week, and after a very quick start our record for most fish caught in a week was soon the target for Mark, Paul, Neil and dad Roy.

The guys managed 114 fish, just 2 shy of the record for 4 anglers. I know the boys left slightly disappointed to miss out, but i think breaking the century and pushing so close was a fantastic effort.

Yesterday brought another trip to the Bigot Fish Farm. I was actually there purchasing some new stock for Lillypool. Sometimes though I just cant resist the lure of a big bar of gold!!!

New Arrivals!!, 6th Jan

My day started at 5am this morning, but surely there is no better reason for such an early start, than the arrival of 10 new faces here at Lillybelle. These new fish are between 32 and 40lb, and come straght to us from the Vasseur fish farm here in France. I'm pretty sure this is fisherman equivalent to some new Jimmy Choo's!!!
