Naming a Fish!, 23rd Oct
After 4 days fishing Lillypool and the bites starting to slow, last weeks anglers Eddie and Mark decided to spend the last couple of days of their stay on Lillybelle.
The guys are our first customers to fish Lillybelle. Ed managed to snare one of the stunning scaley Mirrors, so taken with it, he asked if he could name the Fish. Of course we are always happy to oblige.... Hopefully Petula is greedy and provides some more great moments!

Work is well on the way for next season, with the kitchen & bathroom now almost finished in the cabin too!

Catfish Arrive, 10th Oct
Our new additions to the fish at Lillybelle arrived this week 20, 30 and 40lb Cats. I look forward to seeing them on the bank again soon!!

Test Fish & Work Party , 15th Sep
Everyone is hard at work at Lillybelle to get the venue ready for it's 2015 debut. Here's a report from the latest anglers to try the lake out...
'Hi there, just thought I would let you all know about a week we have done on a new water to angling lines Lillybelle, which is a second lake linked to the already popular Lillypool.
The fish went in early last winter and seem to have settled right in to this beautiful and peaceful lake that really does have a feel of the countryside, yet is only 15 mins from all the amnesties you could ever need.
Four of us went out for a week to help move things along ready for it's opening in the spring of 2015. Even though we worked most days chopping trees and clearing some of the snags it really didn't seem to affect the fishing in the evenings. As between the four of us we managed 114 fish ranging from 17lb to just under 30lb.
Although we didn't manage any of the slightly bigger residents my arms still had a really good work out from these hard fighting never before caught fish that just don't give up. This place really is a genuine runs water day or night. Boilies over pellet and particle worked for us all.
There is an on site cabin with bathroom,kitchen and even a couple bedrooms if you want to take the wife & kids or just want to fish the cabin peg. And with the addition of a few cherry picked larger residents - that will also include a few larger catfish aswell - planned for this winter this really is an exciting water for the coming years. Especially 2015 as these fish are all pristine condition and offer great sport.
Anyone who fishes here next year is sure to have a great week with these far from shy hard fighting fish we will definitely be back as customers next year.
