Late Booking Arrive with a Bang!, 17th Aug

Lillypool welcomed Dave brown and sons, Cody and Matthew, on a late and shorter than usual booking this week. Despite this, a bumper 4 days fishing was to follow, consisting of 45 runs, 33 fish to 39lb 10oz and a new lake record catfish at 48lb 6oz were banked.

Great stuff guys!!

Little Kev arrives!, 3rd Sep

Kev breaks his PB common record 3 times in a week finishing up with a stunning 38lb and only just got back in time to land another little whopper.

OPENING WEEK, 24th Mar

The start of the season for 2012 saw Llillypool open its gates on the 24 march to Huw Rees and his girlfriend holy.

I thought things might have started of slowly being early season, but didn’t need to worry as Holy had 7 fish on the saturday night, including a new pb mirror over 28lb.

When i saw them on wednesday they were catching steadily. Saturday arrived all to soon but they had reached 25 fish in total including another pb for Holly in the shape of a 46.5lb mirror and a new pb common for Huw at 31lb plus. They went home happy bunnies.

Yesterday saw the return of Andy and Mark with a new mate Sean. I jokingly said they would have to go some this time of year to beat their record of 85 fish in a week.

Having just had a text of Andy you never know, they had 17 fish out in the first night, not bad for the end of march
