First night and 10 fish landed , 1st Jun
Saturday 11/06; David Locke and his son Jamie arrived at Lillypool. There were originally 3 in the party, but other commitments saw their friend pull out.
With introductions out of the way we made our way around the lake discussing rigs, tactics and pegs. We didn't have to walk far before they had choosen their spots. The pads and back of the island. I left the lads to set up and sort out.
After a couple of hours they had two on the bank. With rods back on the spots, I left them to it. The early night and a good night's sleep didn't happen. I saw them this morning, just in time to see father and son hit and land a fish at the same time. This made their total 10 fish to 29lb in less than 24hrs.
In their words WOW What start!
Well done lads.... keep it up!

Continued success for Dave & James, 1st Jun
As you will already know Dave and his son James got off to a flyer on Saturday. Since then the fishing as got better and better.
Fish after fish from their feeding spots the lads are on a hat trick of double ups. It is still only Wednesday and the boys have banked 37 fish. None of the really big girls have showed yet, although James lost two of Lillypool's larger residents.
They have really got the fish on the feed, talking of which I must go and see how many more they've had.
Keep um comin boys. For those of you that know James, his new nickname is Sleeping Beauty.

And yet more...., 1st Jun
Dave and Jamesy were doing extremely well up until today, when if possible, things picked up a gear. It is Thursday early afternoon and they have just had another two fish including a 42.5 mirror...this fish takes their total to fifty fish so far.
What a result, in 24 hours they landed 14 fish yesterday, it doesn't get much better. The lads are over the moon and who can blame them. Keep it up lads, you are on your way to 60 fish for the week, which is currently the lake record.
