Pb's Ahoy!!, 20th May

Despite the Fish Spawning, Anglers Eddie Hudson and Mark Russel both managed new PB's at 47lb 8oz and 49lb 4oz on their recent trip to Lillypool. The boys both kept to tradition and celebrated their captures in style... with a good dousing of lake water and some superb water photos, very well done fellas!!!

2017 off to a good start, 20th Feb

A new lake record at Lillypool, and a new common PB for bailiff Richard too. 53lb 2oz.

Bedroom Complete!, 16th Jul

A little later than planned, but at least ready for next season, as planned! The bedroom is done and furnished and ready for use. That said, I'm hoping the fish keep eating and the beds stay empty for many a week to come!

A great note from Derek Hayward, who has returned from Lillypool recently...

'Hi Julie,

Just wanted to give recognition where it is due , the bailiff Richard at Lillypool is a credit to Angling lines , and has restored our faith in taking out bookings in the future with Angling lines.

Richard could see I was struggling on the Monday and the fish were not in my swim , he spent 2 hours on Monday night with me advising me of different tips and methods to try , on the Tuesday yes the wind did change and the fish moved into my swim but his help and advice and his whole approach was totally brilliant and if there is a reward for the top bailiff of the month I would like to recommend him . His help me and to the other guys was second to none and made it a real holiday for us consequently I caught 11 fish and had a fantastic holiday along with 3 other guys.

I would certainly recommend Angling lines now and will probably book again in a couple of years at Lillybelle the sister lake where Richard is also Bailiff .

Thanks again and I hope you will send this onto Richard .
