Netting, 1st Dec

Final update for this week, and the big one. Sunday we carried out this seasons netting at Lillypool. A long and tiring day, but very successful, lots of carp in the net, but most importantly, hundreds of kilos of silver fish removed.

Once again Massive thanks Mark Osman, Mark Baker, Richard Wills, Richard Owen, Thomas Wills, Philippa Antrobus, Angela Saunders & Wayne.

Heres just a few shots from the day.

Mark Baker finally got his hands on the big common. Weighed at just about 50lb.

A Quick Session, 27th Nov

With the netting scheduled for Sunday, Mark, one of Lillypool's lake owners couldnt resist a couple of days fishing first. Here's just a few photos I got.

November Overnighters, 14th Nov

With no one fishng Lillypool the last couple of weeks it was opportunity for me to wet a line or 2. Two different overnight sessions resulted in 7 captures to 34lb. None of the big girls this time but happy to be kept so busy in November!!!

Lake record Cat, 19th Sep

After the worst week of weather all year, both of our cats made an appearance for anglers Brian Edwards (59lb 8oz) and Martin Daws (50lb 8oz)... Brian's breaking our current lake record by a little over half a pound. It's unusual with just the 2 cats in the lake for someone to come with one of those as their main target, but thats exacly what Brian did. Excellent job both of you!
