Were the facilities what you expected?

They were fine, shower and toilet were good, didn't sleep in the bedroom, but to be honest wouldn't have wanted to. Kitchen had a full cooker, but heat output wasn't great, but usable, also had a microwave and 2 fridge's, there was a small freezer, but was so frosty, unusable.

General Comments:

A lovely lake, we fished off the new island swim, and found it to be perfect for a social, particularly liked the pergola in the middle on a rainy day, we had 4 fishing, but 3 would poss be a better number. Bailiff Richard is a lovely guy, listen to his advice. The weather was all over the place, and slowed up the fishing, but everyone had a lovely trip

60 fish over 2 weeks, biggest cat 78.12lb. Grass carp to 47lb, plenty of 30s

Great facilities exactly what you need

Were you happy with them?

Overall happy from a constructive feedback point of view, a fly zapper for the kitchen would be very useful as, with this time of year, flys were everywhere making it hard to prepare food in the kitchen. Also a few mats near the door to the cabin would be useful as when raining the kitchen floor was very dirty due to walking in with wet shoes. Same issue in the bathroom a rubber mat next to the shower would be useful. Also a bigger hot water tank as it couldn’t handle 4 people in the morning one after another.

Every peg caught, 5 fish in total for myself one of them being a PB. Everybody caught which meant the trip was an absolute pleasure to be a part of.

Simple tactics, although I was second to catch I believe I may of been more prolific if I simplified my rigs earlier on in the trip

Exactly to be expected, my second time in France now. Hot shower, toilet and an ample amount of plug sockets (3 pin!!).

I wanted to touch on Rich the bailiff, he really is a gent. He knows his lakes inside out. Im fishing Lilybelle next year and have already said to our party I can’t wait to get back to Lilypool!
