Great facilities exactly what you need

Were you happy with them?

Overall happy from a constructive feedback point of view, a fly zapper for the kitchen would be very useful as, with this time of year, flys were everywhere making it hard to prepare food in the kitchen.
Also a few mats near the door to the cabin would be useful as when raining the kitchen floor was very dirty due to walking in with wet shoes. Same issue in the bathroom a rubber mat next to the shower would be useful.
Also a bigger hot water tank as it couldn’t handle 4 people in the morning one after another.

Every peg caught, 5 fish in total for myself one of them being a PB. Everybody caught which meant the trip was an absolute pleasure to be a part of.

Simple tactics, although I was second to catch I believe I may of been more prolific if I simplified my rigs earlier on in the trip

Exactly to be expected, my second time in France now. Hot shower, toilet and an ample amount of plug sockets (3 pin!!).

General Comments:

I wanted to touch on Rich the bailiff, he really is a gent. He knows his lakes inside out. Im fishing Lilybelle next year and have already said to our party I can’t wait to get back to Lilypool!

34 fish caught throughout the week caught the tail end of spawning so a little slower but still really happy with the catches.

Standard hair rig bottom baits seem to work the best

Yes more than happy with them has everything you need and a decent shower too.

Were you happy with them?

Yes the kitchen is fully loaded too which really helps plenty of fridge and freeze space aswell.

Already have and we are returning to it's sister lake lillybelle for the 3rd time next year

Yes the bailiff rich is an absolute ledgend and can not help you out enough.

General Comments:

Don't hesitate to go just book it and I can guarantee you will not regret it, your in the safest hands possible with rich the bailiff he really cant do enough for you and if I'm honest it's one of the reasons we keep going back as he makes your trip that much more easier.

Richard the bailiff was excellent and a top bloke. We struggled at first as fish were spawning but picked up second half of the week after a thunder storm.
