A thoroughly enjoyable week on a beautiful and well kept water.
Richard was a huge help and certainly helped us add fish to the total. Great little water. That catfish!!!

All the fish caught were immaculate. Richard the bailiff was very helpful. We wold definitely come back

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We used house bait Inferno, and our own CC Moore Live System both fished over mixed house particle and Live System pellet / house pellet mix. Bottom or Wafter worked best for us, we left one rod all week on a small spinner rig with a pop up and not one bite, all other 5 rods produced fish.
Fish to features, particularly tight to the Lilly pads. I fished open water after finding two sweet feeding spots and twice a day I would have one to three fish on the hook. Keep a steady flow of bait trickling in, we used the bait boat to be super sure of being on the spots.

Were the facilities what you expected?

These were better than expected. Very clean, and everything you needed, Freezers, a fridge, cooking facilities, bbq area, recycling bins, shower and toilet which both work well and are clean.

Were you happy with them?

Yes, very happy, already looking for next year to try Lillybelle.

General Comments:

When you arrive and meet Richard the Bailiff, listen to what he says, he really knows this lake and all its residents, it will pay to give him time to explain all the hot spots and tactics, it worked for us. He is a really top fella and always helpful and obliging. The cabin could do with another fridge for drinks, it was fine for two of us, but if a party of four were there they would be fighting for the cold ones.
