Winter Session, 19th Jan

Two fishing buddies visited Linstant in December for a short two day session and managed to land eight carp. Despite the cold temperatures the fishing proved very encouraging with all fish falling to small pop ups presented on a pop up rig. At this time of year they favoured using small PVA bags to keep the presentation tight and attractive.

The carp caught during the session ranged in weight from around 18lb up to 37lb.

Winter has arrived at Linstant, 10th Jan

Snowfall has reshaped the waterside into a bright winter landscape, with frost-coated trees and a calm, wintry hush in the air.

New Shelter, 24th Nov

A new shelter has been fitted at the far end of the lake, close by the swim. A great space for anglers who want to spend a few hours or nights there to get out of the elements. It's designed to accommodate a bed chair for sleeping.
