Mas Bas Lotus Lake Fish

The pretty Lotus Lake holds around 110 hard fighting carp and in the past we have seen carp up to mid 40's on the bank, however the biggest recorded so far within the last two seasons was caught at 37lb.

There are a few 30's with the rest mainly twenties and doubles. The lake also offers koi, tench, zander, pike, bream and black bass. There's quite a few grass carp of varying sizes too.

Each year the owner generally introduces a few extra carp to supplement the existing stock. This makes Lotus well stocked for its size. An aerator keeps oxygen levels up in the summer to encourage feeding.

Mas Bas cannot be regarded as an out and out “runs” water, but it fishes well and is generally consistent each week. Just a little application can bring excellent results and with the lake exclusively booked you can feed your swim and venture away for the day with every prospect of great carp catches on your return.
