Yes really happy with the facilities, shower was hot and the toilet was clean, a large freezer is provided along with a decent size fridge.

General Comments:

The lake fished really hard, the weather conditions was spot on and the fish showed themselves here and there but they just seemed preoccupied, in the end we managed 7 fish with a PB broken. The venue is lovely and Mehdi was really accommodating, I would definitely recommend this lake to friends.

Fishing bottom of marginal shelf, mixture of boilies and particle. Bottom baits, snowman and pop ups all worked for us

General Comments:

A tough week, conditions were good but the fish seemed to be preoccupied elsewhere for much of the time. But with two PBs broken and an average weight of over 45lb, it was a great holiday. As always it was a pleasure to catch up with Mehdi, and to check out his hard work on the stock pond and growing fish for the future of the fishery.

General Comments:

Weather didn't do us and favour, high pressure and northern winds. But I think we had a good week considering. The chat are an issue, personally wrapped my hook baits, while others didn't feel the need. One thing with old oaks is the mystery of not knowing what's next, and how unpredictable it is! Mehdi again left us alone, but always on hand
