Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
Due to water level being very high the fish had pushed under the snags , we primed spots daily building up feeding spots with bollie , hemp and pellet.
Were the facilities what you expected?
Toliet door needs fixing not excepting it warped during winter its spring now get it fixed way pay good money to use facilities not much to ask for a closing door. Also joke you have to carry your rubbish over a 500 meter hike to his house up a main road rubbish collection at the lodge should be allowed. *** Note from Angling Lines *** Mehdi is fixing the toilet door. We apologise for this. Here's Mehdi's response re rubbish collection; "Unfortunately each person living in our village is only allowed a single rubbish collection point & for me that is at the Laroussi gate. So I ask each angler from Old Oaks to bring their rubbish to the Laroussi gate. This is 80m away from the Old Oaks gate and is accessible by car."

Great holiday just a shame the water level was so high could not get to the edges of most swims without waders but thats mother nature and not old oaks fault ,the fishing was great with hard fighting fish so more than made up for it .

Really worked for our fish, spawning really killed the fishing but couldnt be helped, the freakish weather brought the spawning forward,on another week im sure we would have done alot better but really enjoyed our time at old oaks regardless.
