Details of your catches:
Very tough first 4 days with hot weather and fish did not want to feed in swim 15 or 16. Got them going in the shallows and had 13 takes in the last 48 hours landing 11 fish, but watch out for those snags! Landed 7x30's, which included a mirror of 39lb's and a beautiful fin/ scale perfect common of 36lb's. My father managed to land 5 sturgeon, which included 2 x 100lb'ers and I took great pleasure watching him get beaten up by these monsters.
Your best tactics/bait/rigs:
I wish I was in swim 1, this lake does tend to be a one swim water for a good hit for the carp. Lake depth is critical so watch the weather, but the lake bottom is pretty consistent so feed them and they will come. Inline setup in pva bags with snowman arrangement with bright pink, purple or white popup's a must... Don't listen to nonsense about nuisance fish issues and so you should steer clear of fishmeals, I wish I took fishmeals!
Were the facilities what you expected?
Facilities are disappointing and need attention, it's a shame because with this fixed this venue could be even better.
Were you happy with them?
I used them, but appreciate I could have come out a lot cleaner if the facilities were better.
Would you recommend the venue to a friend?
Yes, get swim 1.
Would you recommend the services to a friend?
Yes, but I think you could keep your booked anglers more informed of who else is on the lake. We booked swim 15 and 16 with another 6 lads exclusively taking the rest of the lake and they would not allow us to move even though most of the swims were free, pity!
General Comments:
I will one day return to this venue, fish swim 1 and hopefully the facilities will be improved and I hope to land one of the sturgeon monsters!

General Comments:
If your looking just for carp then this is not the venue. There is a very large stock of cats and sturgeon that proved to be difficult to avoid. There are also some serious snags in front of almost every swim so having the right gear and knowledge to fish around them is essential for fish safety. We found landing any sturgeon a very tricky task and many we did land had been tethered up by several lines which was not nice to see. Apart from that most of the carp where in top condition and fight extremely hard. Beautiful lake, surroundings and gin clear water. Frank was very welcoming as well.

General Comments:
Couldn't ask for a better week, 33 fish in a week is a red letter day for anyone. Topped of by being on a beautiful lake with mates, beer and sun.
