General comments: A good place to put a bend in your rod. Very scenic and very spacious pegs.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Thanks to paul cooper we took hg42 and had all fish on these, he was very helpful. Just simple rigs. Thanks also to bill.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes
Were you happy with them? Yes, hand soap in toilet and a shelf in shower area

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Yes very nice lake, pegs could do with sorting, but we did have a lot of rain!

General comments: Lovely lake. What fish we had, were in great condition, had a great week with my son and grandson.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Margins - little action on the bars.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, but need fridge/freezer for bait and food.
Were you happy with them? Yes, shower good. Electrics close to water. More electrics points.

General comments: It's a great lake. I will come again.

Details of your catches: 6 anglers fishing one dropped out , 121 carp in total , 17 x 30's to 34lb, 95 x 20's most over 25lb , 8 x 10lb+, 1 x 2lb common. 11 x sturgeon biggest at 33lb. A few bream not really a problem.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Everything worked , we tried every method and all worked.we did find that baiting with particles and pellet encouraged the sturgeon to feed first. Nash boilies over maize worked well.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes , toilet rather small , we had one lad 6'4" and 19 stone had to leave the door open (not very pretty).

General comments: Great runs water with fish feeding allover the lake regardless of wind direction and weather.if these fish grow on anglers baits this will be a top french venue.two minor issues , we had six days of rain and some of the swims were ankle deep in mud.whilst this is a drive and survive venue, the lake would definetely benefit from a communal meeting / drying area.pics to follow.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: They took anything and everything i threw at them

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, basic but adequate, i did suggest some more coat hooks in the shower unit, and maybe a chair/stool would be handy.
Were you happy with them? Yes, don't expect the 'ritz' on a fishing holiday

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Yes, if they wanted to catch numbers of fish and the way they feed they are bound to grow
Would you recommend our services to a friend? I've recommended you to all my friends, now round to recommending your services to strangers

General comments: Nice venue, helpfull owner, lots of fish and some pretty commons too, just need to be a little bigger and that will happen as they are hungry.
