Definitely not, been going to France since 1997 a friend went there a few weeks before and said that the rats were bad so I called angling lines and they called the owner and they said they had it under control, the rats were falling out the trees and coming in to the bivvies, no traps or bait stations on site, the lads were buying traps at the local supermarket

Angling line's are fantastic

General Comments:

The team at angling lines are fantastic, but that lake needs some maintenance and those rats need sorting, don't mind a few as it's fishing but that was worse than the bubonic plague *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you saw so many rats during your visit. 2nd visit to this venue, I like this lake great stock of fish, however it was very quiet this time as it was colder than last time, 65lb PB and 22lb

Very basis, but adequate shower, toilet, fridge and freezer, what else do you need

General Comments:

The rats need to be controlled, the amount running around is ridiculous, and there's a coypu that is a real nuisance. *Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback and we're sorry you saw so many rats on this occasion - we find the same issue at this time every year on venues as natural food sources become more scarce coming into winter. The lake are actively managing them.

Yes, adequate for our needs

Were you happy with them?

Shower was good, could do with a chair in there for us older people. Toilet a bit small, plenty of freezer space and plugs for charging equipment

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

I would but there are a lot of unsafe trees around the venue. One fell on the first day of our trip and just missed one of our group he was very lucky. The tree wiped out his bivvy, fishing was very difficult and there was only 10 fish caught on the whole lake for a week by 8 anglers. The bailiffs were friendly but not forthcoming with any advice or tips. We left the venue feeling very deflated as we tried everything to catch fish and the fish we caught were smaller than what we catch back in the UK

The trip itself went as planned. The incident with my friend was dealt with by Angling lines support staff. The outcome is still ongoing as we have only just arrived back in the UK. I would still use Angling Lines for looking at venues.

General Comments:

Hard week, fish were small. Lot of the trees look unsafe. The lake itself is good but bailiffs not forthcoming with advice or tips. Please rest assured that the owners take lake management and angler safety extremely seriously across all their venues. As soon as we became aware of the situation, it was dealt with immediately.

On my experience of blue lake I wouldn't due to the lack of fish coming out for all 8 anglers on that week was very poor seen as its listed as a runs water. Also they could do with some rat catchers as my friend was plaqued with them getting in to his bivvy .

Service from angling lines was great everythink ran smoothly
