Were the facilities what you expected?

Toilet is quite snug to say the least, the shower is in desperate need of updating and a deep clean, the silicone around shower is disgusting, wrong sealant has been used, (im a retired decorator, so know this), the freezers and plug points are adequate.

Were you happy with them?

Not particularly, but I also had my motorhome with me, so used my own facilities, but friends with me weren't impressed at all

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?

No, after the fish kill 2 years ago, they restocked, but for me personally, the fish were too small for the money you pay.
There is still a serious issue with rats, and the amount coypu is getting out of hand

*Angling Lines note* Thank you for your feedback, we have spoken to the owner and the shower will be renovated this winter ready. We do need to clarify that the fish kill two years ago was approximately 55 carp from a stock of 350-400. The lake received an additional stocking to replace these, however we do feel that catch reports still represent a very good number of larger carp on the bank - although we appreciate that on your week the larger ones were not playing ball which is frustrating!

I do like the lake, I fished in swim 2, and the amount flint makes it near impossible to peg bivvis down properly, just bent 9 pegs whilst trying.
