Lovely lake. What fish we had, were in great condition, had a great week with my son and grandson.

follow the fish, feed boilies (bream come to pellets) pva bags worked well use PVA bags at base of bars

Yes- just about, rained a lot so pegs got very muddy. No kitchen or freezer so embrace the drive and survive ethos.

General Comments:

A good place to put a bend in your rod, very rural and quite scenic lake. We even saw a family of wild boar at the lake edge. I can see us going back again.

9 carp. Best 36lb 6oz. 5 sturgeon to 36lb 8oz. poor return but conditions difficult.

Margins - little action on the bars.

Yes, but need fridge/freezer for bait and food.

Yes, shower good. Electrics close to water. More electrics points.

Details of your catches:

6 anglers fishing one dropped out , 121 carp in total , 17 x 30's to 34lb, 95 x 20's most over 25lb , 8 x 10lb+, 1 x 2lb common. 11 x sturgeon biggest at 33lb. A few bream not really a problem.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Everything worked , we tried every method and all worked.We did find that baiting with particles and pellet encouraged the sturgeon to feed first. Nash boilies over maize worked well.

Yes , toilet rather small , we had one lad 6'4" and 19 stone had to leave the door open (not very pretty).

General Comments:

Great runs water with fish feeding allover the lake regardless of wind direction and weather.If these fish grow on anglers baits this will be a top French venue.Two minor issues , we had six days of rain and some of the swims were ankle deep in mud.Whilst this is a drive and survive venue, the lake would definetely benefit from a communal meeting / drying area.Pics to follow.
