Best tactics was boilie only in the margins. Pick out your boilies and keep baiting up little and often.

This place is really a little hidden gem! It is a beautiful venue/lake the cottage is amazing, the food is 10 out of 10 with the owner Martin being a fantastic guy who gos above and beyond for you!! The drive is a killer but definitely well worth the trip for anyone who fancies this amazing place!!

Around 65 fish in total. 7 x 40's, 10 x 30's. 1 x catfish and 1 x 40lb grass carp. Around 65 fish in total.

Use house bait, keep rigs simple and listen to Martin whose knowledge was very helpful.

Yes, over and above previous venues visited in France. Great venue, peaceful & secure. Accommodation great. Bait really good and reasonable price. Food package was amazing and very good value.

Keep it simple and use the bait supplied by the lake owner... it's brilliant.

Most definitely. This is a stunning venue with plenty of fish. Ideal for families.

General Comments:

A stunning lake and great facilities. The owner Martin could not do more for us which made this stay so enjoyable. The food package is just amazing... everything home cooked and you will not go hungry! The lasagne is an absolute winner! Terrific value for money and we really didn't need to bring or buy anything else. The stocked beer fridge was a very nice and unexpected extra! Our first fishing trip in France and this has certainly set the bar very high. Definitely returning again. Over 30 fish caught between us, and that was only with the rods in probably less than 50% of the time we were there as it just so hot!

Out of the bag hook baits done most of the fish with a few pouch fulls of 12mm and 15mm baits scattered around hookbaits

Lovely place with very good fishing, Martin the owner can't do enough for you, has a vast knowledge of fishing and cooks a lovely meal, this lake is good now but once Martin puts his plan for the place into action it'll be even better.
