High pressure all week with bright sunshine and ne winds and clear nights all week which made the fishing very hard but when we did catch the fish where stunning and of a very good stamp.

General Comments:

Two members of the party beat pbs all week, Stu Piper topped his with a 50lb common and Reece aged 12 beat his twice with a 31.14 mirror and a 45lb mirror.. great week had by all

VERY WET WEEK, BUT PROVED PRODUCTIVE

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

We caught well on both tiger nuts and boilies.
A lot of the fish were held up in the weed near the far margin off the wooded bank and drifted out to feed. Its our 5th trip to Boux and patrol routes seem well established, we cant understand why 'car park corner' doesn't produce more fish!

Absolutely. No rubbish, clean house and with the heat the freezer was priceless!!

Yes. The team were very helpful whilst we worried about possible delays due to the problems in Calais & with questions to the owner.

General Comments:

The week was unbelievably hot and clearly had an effect on the fish where it was hard to establish any feeding patterns.

Also the pike can be a pain where they attack anything that moves - several fish were trailing line which we put down to the pike hitting back leads leaving tackle out in the water, best advise is not to use them!

Despite a tough week, Boux is a beautiful place to escape to and is home to some truly wonderful carp.

Tiger far bank. Most fish holding down far end for most of week. The 58.13 came out by the trees in the far corner bay dam wall end in 18 inches of water.

General Comments:

Very slow and hard work getting them moving. Picked up later in the week. 58lb'er came out on the Sunday night. Reece at far end had most of the fish. But not the 58lb, that was mine, lol.
