The temps ranged from 22ºC down to 1ºC while we there. We had thunderstorms and lightning on 4 of the days, water rose by 30cm while we there. The carp were not feeding therefore targeting showing fish paid off. Also setting small traps, fishing for a fish.

All the banks were flooded. The Woods bank needs sorting as was inaccessible without wading or using a boat.

three anglers 24 carp topped with a 51 lb common .1 43 lb common and loads of 30's to 39.

Fishing to the far margin from the dam wall produced the most fish for me .

The shower was clean and tidy and the bike ride to the farm where the shower room was located done me the power of good every day.

General Comments:

The lake is set in such a peaceful location. We were left alone all week . The fishing started off slowly but a bit off hard work soon found the fish .On the final day we had seven fish in as many hours.
