General Comments:

Trees have been trimmed but still need more work as they have grown back. Still very tight to cast in certain swims.
Overall excellent.

Details of your catches:

we caught 1x 50 to 50lb 10oz, 8x 40`s, 17x 30`s, 9x 20`s, 2x doubles and and two lovely orange koi 19lb and 24lb

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

a mixture of particles and boilies spread out and fishing to a depth more than a feature most fish came from the deeper areas of the lake but having said that the margins did produce fish.

Were the facilities what you expected?

yes but better a great hot shower the fridge and freezer were very usefull, and a microwave that was good.

Were you happy with them?

yes very pleased and not too far from the lake , we were lucky as most of the fish came at night/early evening so we could organise our trips to the lodge.

absolutely and have already

great service as always even when we broke down on the way home and organizing a later train back thanks again.

General Comments:

great venue a long drive but worth it , some awesome sunrises and the fish are awesome too fight like demons what a place we will come back .

we had about 22 fish for the week,most fish came from the dam in the deeper water,mainly 20s and 30s with one at 40lb 11oz.

boilies and particles

we knew it was a short drive to the facilities but it did actually spoil the holiday because everytime you needed to go to the facilities you would have to reel in,and you just couldnt get settled.

the facilities were very good
